Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 6, 2026
The short version
Resly is software your building uses to communicate and stay organized. We collect only the operational data we need to run the service and make it work better — nothing more. We don't sell your data, we don't run advertising, and we don't build marketing profiles about you.
Who we are
Resly is a product of Awesome Machinery, LLC ("Resly," "we," "us," or "our"), a Delaware limited liability company. Resly is a building-management and community platform used by co-ops, condos, HOAs, and the property managers who run them. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
We keep two kinds of information, and only these:
Your building's content and membership. To provide the service, we store what you and your neighbors put into Resly — forum posts, maintenance tickets and their comment threads, documents, direct messages, calendar entries, and the membership records (name, unit, role, and the email or phone number an administrator added) needed to route messages, verify a phone number belongs to its user, and control access. This content belongs to your building; we hold it to deliver the service to you.
Operational optimization data. We collect the technical and usage data required to keep Resly running reliably and to improve it — things like error and performance logs, delivery status for notifications, aggregate feature usage, and basic request metadata. We use this strictly to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and optimize the service. That is the extent of our data collection.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We do not serve advertisements or share data with ad networks.
- We do not build advertising or marketing profiles from your activity.
- We do not read your building's private content to mine or monetize it.
- We do not collect anything beyond the operational data described above.
How messages reach residents
Resly can deliver notices by app, email, SMS text message, automated voice call, and messaging bridges. To carry them we pass the necessary details (such as an email address or phone number and the message or call content) to the infrastructure providers that transmit them on our behalf — email, hosting, and telephony (SMS and voice) providers, only to deliver your communication. They are not permitted to use this data for their own purposes. We also use SMS to send one-time codes that verify a phone number belongs to the person using it.
Text messages and voice calls
When your building enables phone-based communication, Resly may send you SMS text messages — including one-time verification codes, critical or time-sensitive alerts, and general notices from your building's administrators — and may place automated voice calls for critical updates. Message frequency varies with your building's activity, and message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
You opt in to these messages and calls yourself: before we send anything to a new number, we ask you to confirm it by entering a one-time code we text you. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, and reply HELP for help. Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of using Resly. Opting out of texts does not remove you from Resly or stop app and email notices — talk to your building's administrator about the channels you prefer.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS and encrypted at rest by our storage providers. Access is scoped by organization and building, and sensitive credentials are stored encrypted. Access to Resly is limited to the members an administrator has added to your building.
Retention and deletion
We keep your building's content for as long as your organization uses Resly. When content or an account is deleted, we remove it from active systems within a reasonable period, subject to routine backups and any retention required by law. Operational logs are kept only as long as they are useful for reliability and security.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and administrators can manage member records directly in the app. To make a request, email us at privacy@resly.cc.
Children's privacy
Resly is intended for building residents and staff and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify administrators. Continued use of Resly after a change means you accept the updated policy.
